Dear trail volunteers:

The Tamalpais Conservation Club’s volunteer trail maintenance events for September will be as follows:

- Saturday, September 6, 2008, meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Bon Tempe Dam parking lot.  (Approach from Fairfax via Bolinas-Fairfax Rd.  Enter the watershed through the Sky Oaks Entrance Station.  Tell the attendant that you are volunteering, and you will receive a free pass for the day.  After about a half mile, bear right onto the gravel road.) Monthly trail day with the Marin Municipal Water District.  Our project will be on the Kent Tr., with access by water taxi.  Work will include brushing in the huckleberries, and water bar maintenance.  Jonathan Fouche of the MMWD will lead.

- Tuesday, September 16, 2008, meeting at 9:00 a.m. at Bootjack–monthly trail day with Mount Tamalpais State Park. Project to be determined.

- Sunday, September 28, 2008, 12:00 p.m. Semi-Annual TCC Meeting and Picnic.Lake Lagunitas Picnic Area. Potluck. Side dishes are welcome!.

Please bring lunch, liquids, work gloves, sturdy shoes, and suitable clothes.

Monthly trail day with the MMWD. Trail days with the MMWD are usually on the first Saturday of the month, ordinarily meeting at 9:00 a.m. at Rock Spring. Bring lunch, liquids, work gloves, and suitable clothes.

Trail days with Mount Tamalpais State Park are usually on the third Tuesday of the month, ordinarily meeting at 9:00 a.m. at Bootjack. Check before coming out as this date can vary.

The club’s annual meeting is held on the first Sunday in May.

The semi-annual meeting is held on the last Sunday in September.
