Located at Muir Beach, the mouth of Redwood Creek is a complex
mosaic of wetland, riparian, sand dune, and creek habitats. The
National Park Service and Green Gulch Farm (each of whom own portions
of the restoration area) are working together to develop a conceptual
plan to restore the Big Lagoon Wetland and lower Redwood Creek to
a functioning, self-sustaining ecosystem.
